You've found a tool you're interested in. Maybe you've already saved it to your toolkit on Digital.Health. Now you want to get your doctor's perspective before you commit. These six questions help you do that without taking up the whole visit.

1
Is this tool appropriate for my specific condition or situation?
Even validated tools may not fit every patient. Your clinician knows your full picture — let them weigh in on fit.
2
How should I use it safely — and what should I avoid?
Some tools (CGMs, BP cuffs, ECG monitors) can be misread or misused. Ask for a brief orientation.
3
What data should I track, and how often should I share results with you?
Frequency matters. Daily readings may be useful for some conditions; weekly summaries for others. Find your rhythm.
4
Are there privacy or accuracy concerns I should know about?
Your clinician may know which tools their colleagues trust — and which they'd avoid for clinical or privacy reasons.
5
Is there a tool you already recommend or use with patients like me?
Sometimes the best answer is one your care team already knows well. Ask what they prefer before you commit.
6
Could this replace, complement, or interfere with anything in my current care plan?
Tools can sometimes overlap with prescribed therapies or change how a clinician interprets your data. Worth checking.
